Art For All
Empowering Artists with Disabilities
Carrie teaches classes and volunteers for a local nonprofit dedicated to helping folks with diabilities have access to art.
From their website:
“Art For All serves adults with disabilities by offering opportunities for artistic expression in visual, theatrical, and cultural arts. We foster well-being through our health and fitness education, and social outings. Our instructors have over 45 years of experience in working with adults with disabilities. We started Art For All in 2017 to promote artists and connect them to the greater art scene through exhibits and classes.
We became a nonprofit in 2022 and have since become well integrated into the Edmonds Arts Community. Our artists enjoy participating in the Art Walk and exhibiting at many venues and festivals, including Graphite art center. Our classes are geared to include everyone despite ability, and our team of volunteers ensure that everyone feels supported and valued.”
If you know somebody with a disability, you should totally get them involved with Art for All! If you don’t, you can still help out by donating or volunteering some time to help truly give access of Art to All!

Paws with a Cause
Pause With Cause Mission Statement:
“Grounded in love and concern, PawsWithCause is a 501(c)3, volunteer-based nonprofit with a mission to improve the lives of abandoned animals. We do this by generating public awareness, educating communities, and providing financial support to animal rescues and shelters. Our forte is art and engagement, with a special focus on underserved groups.”
Pause With Cause partners with local shelters to help support the animals that are most in need. They receive a photo of each animal they are supporting and create a sketch on canvas making it ready for painting and pair it with painting supplies for a $25 kit.
When you purchase one of these kits on their website you will get a canvas with a sketched animal, paint, brush, and a photo with information about the wonderful animal you are donating to. These make wonderful gifts for both artists and animal lovers!
You can go to https://pawswithcause.org/ to learn more about this wonderful non-profit organization and view their animal and painting kits. We encourage you to check out their website and consider this fantastic gift!
