Beauty and truth are found when we expand our experience beyond our comfort zone. It is in the unfamiliar, the unknown, the uncomfortable where we discover the beauty and interconnectedness of all things and all beings.

I strive to experience both natural and cultural beauty as often and deeply as I can. I stumbled into a love of photography mainly from an attempt to catalog these adventures and travels. When not behind the lens, I enjoy building furniture, brewing beer, backpacking and gardening.

What is "Organic, Free-Range Photography?

My process of capturing photographs and preparing them for sharing with the public follows an intentional and yet very natural process.

• I keep my photography process simple and personal

• I go where my dreams of beauty take me without an intention to recreate what others have already created

• I bring back the gifts of light that my destinations and the critters who live there were so kind to bless me with

• I process my photos simply to attempt to display the true beauty that I saw with my eyes (with occassional exceptions for artistic fun)

• I produce my photos as environmentally friendly as I can

• I provide paper prints and traditional framing as these are the most organic and renewal methods of display currently available
